Diagnosing Speed Sensor
Twice while driving, it felt like the brakes kicked in, dash lit up like an xmas tree and within a few seconds....all was cool again.
I was thinking speed sensor. I took it to Advance for them to read the codes and.... 1. There were no codes to be read 2. Guy didn't know how to use his reader I'm heavily leaning towards #2 I didn't want to pay $90 for the dealer to read it. I'm fine with giving them the business (and markup) to install it, just don't want the diagnostic fee. I can probably negotiate that. Indy is probably the best option. I guess. I guess the question is.....i should be able to get a code while the sensor is still functioning right? I doesn't need to be 100% to throw a code does it? Thanks, Nic
