this is my ride.
the color seems to loose its lustre as it gets dirty, of course, but it manages to stay looking cleaner than most other colors I've ever owned.

4- Vinyl Wrapping the x5 to Matte / Flat color
Interesting to see the result

5- 20 inch Replica rims (haven't decided which yet)

6- Further down the line planning on installing the kit from the E53 4.6.
Should be nice

For the wrapping I was so sure I wanted Matte Black but a quick search on google and the different forums I don't think it looks as great as I thought would be

I may be wrong or the pictures I saw weren't really up to the expectations! If any got suggestions go ahead and share
Reply in quote. I think you have some good plan for it. How is the maintainance on it from the previous owner? Hate to see a nice E53 on the side of the road waiting for rescue.

According to be previous owner he'd just put it in for maintenance for about $5500. Thats alot when paying that here!

I haven't taken it for a full check up just yet! Waiting on the end of the month when we do the trade.

The inside and out is clean, smooth on shifting and no hesitation on acceleration or vibration when in neutral.

It's a well maintained car by the looks of it. The computer check I did using my scanner only showed the oxygen sensor and the sunroof doesn't work lol

Depending on what wrap you go with, style 215 looks amazing with grey and 4.6/8 kit.

Agreed I've always liked that wheel on the X5. A set in gun metal on a matte black X5 would be sinister.

Put on the IS bodykit and change the color. that color somehow might not go with pre-facelift E53. I think matte black wouldn't be bad, I saw one, it's cool. btw, my X was that color also. daytime I don't like it's shine, especially in Saudi... Sun all the time. However black color with that much sand all around might be problem.
