The unit is powered up and played with it for alittle bit: accepting wifi internet connection and capable of internet surfing, accepting Bluetooth connection with iPhone and pulling up contact address book, receiving radio stations with radio broadcast data (e.g. artists/song titles). But because speaker wires haven't been completed yet, so no volume on any features yet.

So if you're doing this install, DEFINITELY buy a longer radio antenna extension cable. I think the one that came with the Dynavin is only like 10 ft; best to just buy a new one that's 18-20 feet and use that one instead.

Also, I was looking at the factory mounting bracket for the DSP amp to see if it would fit with my Alpine amp. Not surprisingly, the mounting holes don't line up. So I'll have to either drill 4 new holes on that mounting plate or look for another means to mount/secure the amp.
How's is it going? Looking forward to hearing more progress!! Thx for the tips thus far!

Haven't gotten a chance to finish up yet. Should be done this weekend and have a writeup with pics.

I did drill 4 new holes on the stock DSP amp mounting bracket and the amp fits it perfectly. So the amp is all set to be dropped back in to the left trunk compartment. If you're looking for an amp that'll fit the mounting bracket, something close to these dimensions would be a perfect fit 10-1/8" W x 2-1/2" H x 7-1/2" D

Okay, just completed all the amp and speaker wiring installs; all 10 speakers are working. Everything seems to be working well together.

I had to remove the fabric tape off the Fakra cable in order to connect the button illumination wire (orange wire) with the power source wire (red wire). In the process of cutting open the tape wrapping, I accidentally cut one of the other wires. Luckily I was able to reconnect it even though it was such a thin wire and was cut close to the harness end. If you're doing this to get power to light the Dynavin buttons, be extremely careful cutting open the fabric tape wrapping! And I suggest doing that before you run the Fakra cable in the car, just in case you have to get another Fakra cable (disaster avoided in my case...lol).
