Looking to buy Depo Headlights

Hey, I have a 2002 BMW X5 with factory Xenons and I am looking to upgrade to a Depo Headlight with with LED angel eyes... I have been searching the web coming up with many different options, I wanted to see what you guys out there had experience with and what is the cheapest, and best quality headlights... I have checked out ebay with prices ranging from a couple hundred to almost $900... I also checked out Umnitza and they seem to have a pretty good set of headlights, and seem very helpful... their prices for 2 headlights, with the upgraded angel eyes (V2), a special part required to allow the lights to dim in and dim out when lock and unlock, and shipping comes out to be a little over $500... I wanted to spend around $400 out the door... anyone have any ideas? suggestions? recent purchase reviews?

Thanks alot guys!

IMHO, if you are changing from factory Hella xenons to Depos then you are downgrading. I have had both on my e39, and nothing compares to the factory projectors. Not to mention depo lens cracking issues. If yours are pitted look into restoring, else get another set of Hella.

I am having a bunch of issues with my factory headlights... my auto leveling is broken, even before they broke, i was unable to adjust them to get a brighter look at the road, i had very low visibility, and my clips on top of the headlight are also broken... on top of all that id really like the LED angel eyes... so as good as factory xenons are, id like a change of look... Thanks for the reply though!

Depo's here, def broke your $400 'budget', but have worked well.
Did experience the impossible-to-repeat, int lights, four-way-flasher battery kill when turning on HID fogs..
If I hadn't been in such a danmed-stupid-hurry, I most-def would have set things up with mrbmwx5, the initial headaches alone would have been avoided (mine came with one dead AE, diagnosing was uhmm, a PITA). My Best advice, save up the extra moolah and get with him, set and forget forever is worth a Whole lot more in peace-of-mind.

good luck with your budget, I've not seen anything in that range worth owning, X'ers get cranky when their electronics are not replaced with perfection, and my 'spensive ones still had an issue (might wanna price out BMW OE replacements to see if your number is ??)

thanks every1 for ur input... ive heard mixed feelings on the depo/umnitza headlights... either people love them or people hate them... and still more than my $400 budget, closest range im falling into is umnitza at a little over 500 shipped... i touched base with mrbmwx5 and he turned out to live near me... im waiting on his reply to see what my options are...

Thanks again every1!
