For the wear, I installed 2 brand new tires at the back just before my alignement last thursday, so I will need more time before I see if the wear is even.
When I had my alignment done, I specified to have the minimum 'toe in' possible (0'.01'') rear and front because the toe is the setting that will affect more the inside wear.

Turbo, looks like you have a garage full of fun. Thanks for the info but having to replace all of those suspension parts at 90K kilometers... are you sure you don't rally and track the X5? jk!! I was under the impression that camber not toe was what wears the inner side of a tire.
I am not sure what I am going to do but I spoke with my alignment friend and showed him the ball joint replacement video in this thread. We will try that tomorrow and go from there. I am trying to come to grips with the fact that I am in denial that it might be ball joints and control arm bushings gone bad. I will let you all know what we find. Thanks.
