LED angel eyes

hi

i just fitted LED angel eye bulbs to replace the standard halogen bulbs

i purchased them off ebay ( 310393816219)

i searched and asked questions and then took the chance.

i have to say i am very happy with the results.

the original halogen bulbs were quite dim and gave off more of a yellow light

the LEDs give off twice the brightness and are very stark white,

simple to fit , they came with an additional adapter cable which i did not need, and came in a neat presentation box,

for anyone who has considered this the only thing i had to do was wipe a touch of lubricant on to the O ring to get the bulb holder to slide in easily.

early days yet but so far very happy

I have those bulbs, I thought they were fairly dim and are very much dwarfed by the corner lamps in daylight. I'll look later for some pics of mine.

you may be right about the corner lights, we dont have them in Australia so all you see is the halos (angel eyes)

at night i can see a glow from them while sitting in the drivers seat something i couldnt with the original halogen bulbs

if i get a chance i,ll take one out and stick the halogen back and take a pic

Keen to see how you go big wave, My ones of these ^^ threw codes (off and on) after a month or so.. I just pulled them out and junked em for a set of Weisslicht ones, they've been in 2 months going strong.

I think the ebay ones are a hit n miss affair because some have success others not so, anyhow they are cheap enough to gamble on!

Has anyone installed the PIAA Angel Eye Light Bulbs and how do they compare to the WeissLicht?
