Self Level Sensor Voltage/Part No.

Hi All

Been registered since I got my X5 about 3 months ago but just been looking and found everything I needed, great info on this site.

I have a 2005 4.8is and I have had a real problem with the self level susp inac warning and whilst at an indy today I noticed that on the autologic readout of the level sensor voltages the two rear ones and right hand front when I pushed down on the X the voltage decreased but on the left side front when I pushed down the voltage increased. Anyone know if this is correct it just seems weird!

I have no errors for sensors and bmw dealer told my indy that the 2 front sensors are the same part no and the rear are a different part no but both the same on rear. When We swapped the front left to right and right to left they both gave an error then when put back to original the error went.

The suspension will lift and lower the car fine and the inac warning when reset can stay of for a day or a week.

The other thing was the part no on my two front sensors were 1 093 699 and 1 093 697 but real oem doesnt recognise this part no so I am well confussed!

Hoping someone can help and now off to put some pics into the 4.8is thread to say hi officially

cheers in advance
