Xenon Headlights

Hey guys,

First of all, great site, I love it. I'm new to this forum but have been coming to this webpage even before we owned our X5, and the changes on this site have been excellent. Anyways, I've been through the articles and have read about the simple "plug and pray" headlight conversions for the newer 04 -05 X5 from halogen to xenons...but I haven't found anything about where I can get them at a decent price, and estimated prices on installing. Does anyone know where I can get a good deal for a conversion kit? Plus I'm not a very handy guy when it comes to cars, so anyone know if the dealer will bend me over on this one?

Thanks,

asnpcwiz

Check with the Crevier BMW parts counter. They have an internet sales dept., and usually have the best prices. Ask for Vaheh.

Checking out their parts counter is going to be difficult for me...I live in Northern Virginia right outside of Washington DC . They are located in Cali...do they have all their parts and prices on the web?

I have a 2001 X5 4.4i and I am going to drive up to the Boston area and have Angel Eyes put in up there- you can check the website www.customangeleyes.com and look at what they do- roughly about $1675.00 including installation I believe- I like the way they look and there is no way I am going to install them myself- I don't even change my own oil-lol

Hey organist, thanks for the reply, but my car already has angel eyes standard. I'm looking into upgrading the halogen headlights to Xenon headlights. I've been looking around ebay and it looks like it'll be around 800-1000 for the parts alone.

I live in Canada and I get all my parts from Crevier! Check crevierbmw.com They should be able to ship out the new headlights. You will have to replace them. You can not convert halogen to xenon!

You can call Crevier at 714-835-3171, send Vaheh an email at [email protected], or go to http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/partscounter/ and post an online price request.

What you pay in shipping you will more than make up for in the pricing discount and no sales tax
