DSC light on after hitch install?? Doesn't make sense!

What is the speed sensor reset? I did the DSC reset? Are these the same or different? What i did: with the car running but in park, turn steering wheel all the way to the right, then all the way to left. Turn off the car, restart, then drive for a few miles! Did I miss anything?
