May I glue that on?
All,
just bought the 4.6is rear bumper spoiler in Lithuania and now I have a question: May I glue that part on to the bumper permanent or is it wiser to use a methode where it can be removed afterwards? I do not want to end up with a bumper that cannot be removed afterwards because I made a mistake. Thanks, Helmuth |

There are no mistakes to be made. Just follow these instructions:
http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/...3-0i-4-4i.html Its either add some silicone, or someone can easily remove all the 9 self tapping screws and take your shit faster than how you put it on. Better safe than sorry.

Thank you Cisc0,
Since I do not have the OEM set I do not have the possibility to snap the side caps on. I would have to glue them on or I would need to build something special to be able to remove them afterwards. Do I need to remove them in order to be able to remove the bumper or can all that stuff stay on the bumper? |

You do not need to remove them in order to remove the rear bumper. Everything will come off as one piece after you have affixed it to the lower part of the bumper. Glue them on.
