ALARM...arms itself..etc
Thanks to "You Guys" I unplugged the hood switch and the alarm arming itself is solved (I hope)
Why is there a switch under the hood, you need to open the hood from inside the car anyway?

What happens if the switch is NOT replaced?

YOU need to open the hood from inside the car. A creative thief might be able to open the hood another way. A cable has to run from the lever inside to the latch up front.
