No nav

How do you know if it has the sports package? and cold weather package?

dom

Sounds similar to mine. I have cold pkge. If someone waved $8k under my nose I'd consider it. $9k and i'd call it a deal, no question.

'03 4.4 Sport with 100k miles, Silver on black, spotless (not even a scuff on the leather or plastic tailgate liner), Xenon, Cold, Premium Sound (subs and DSP signal processing), Privacy, Rear Climate Packages, late build date, one owner, full service records, never hit, Florida delivered/titled (NEVER SEEN SNOW, even up to now), passed a BMW dealer PPI 100%, new tires installed by BMW (Star on sidewall and even OE BMW silver painted wheelweights), 90 day drivetrain warranty. Paid $12,900 + tax, tag, title at Sanford Acura in FL 2 years ago for a truck that excelled in ALL areas. 2 years searching before finding it. At over 150k miles now with no major issues.

Some DIYers prefer the M62 4.4s due to fewer things to fail (valvetronic/intermitent shafts) and easier repairs (valley pan/valve cover gasket replacement), take half the time to do. If a PPI shows issues with leakage of these items or valve stem seals, or you have not gotten the 100k service done the repair costs could knock thousands off the value of the truck. If the truck is 100% and meets all items listed above you can get 12k out of it.

Manheim Auction is showing between 10-13k AT AUCTION.. IF its in good shape, no scratches and loaded, i'd say you could go for 14-15k

I'm the second owner. I bought it in Texas with 10K miles and had it shipped to me in CA. Tires have no more than 10K on them. No major collision. Actually, never been involved in an accident although the two driver's side doors were repainted. I always assumed it was keyed since I never found any bodywork done. I've done the regular maintenance service myself since 10K miles. Only other work was the replacement of the water pump at about 85K and I had a BMW mechanic who moonlighted do it on the weekend. I changed the oil every 4-5K miles with mobil one synthetic. Oil still stays clear long after oil change. I changed the brakes myself several times. Pads currently at 60% in the front, probably more in the rear.

Be pro-active, get the PPI and service history together before you list it, this will help prospective buyers open their wallet wider. Carfax will show states where the truck has been registered.
