I have my ses light comming on I have a 2000 x5 (4.4 of course) and went to Autozone and they did the check (its free and fast). The code is PO343 Camshaft position sensor A bank 1. Circut high input. First question is what is sensor A bank 1 drivers side or passenger side? second is the light keeps going on and off could it be something else causing the high input? Is there any post on how this is done or a picture? Thanks for all your help GE |

This DIY was for the 3.0 I-6 engine, but there are likely some similarities for the 4.4 V-8 - http://www.xoutpost.com/showarticle-260.html
