CT - thanks. After checking the blade, the clutch seems to be OK, so I am going with the aux fan. I will try to run some 12V to it today, but I have a feeling now it's the aux fan.

So, I'll have plenty to do next weekend.

After seeing a bunch of threads related to fan blade and clutch failure, I'm a little scared of that now, given that I have 130k miles on the clock. I think I'll go ahead and replace those too while I'm in there just to be sure.
