key memory

Hi i have a 2002 x5 4.4 now i have a problem with my key not remembering my seat, mirrors,ect.I have 2 keys which i was using one and wife the other i am now using hers because mine going flat,i cant get this key to remember an y settings i put in when i unlock the car the seat goes far forward as it can i have tried alot of ways to fix this but nothing works it really starting to shit me i need help please any one please
