E53 02 Condenser/Aux Fan Won't turn on.

Hello all. I'm no mechanic but I try and do things myself whenever I can. yesterday I replaced my aux fan for the AC as it was not working. It wasn't the most fun process but a success. The fan even worked a few times. Now however, the fan simply will not turn itself on.

As a test I unplugged the fan wire and back in and it will 'jolt' the fan and it will spin a few times, however not remain running with the AC turned on. I am sure there is some sort of sensor that I should be replacing that tells the fan to turn on.

I replaced the Final stage resistor on this vehicle about a year ago, but that was for the cabin fan speed control, I do not think it has anything to do with the AC condenser fan. The only thing I can think of is maybe the thermostat? Does anyone have any thoughts, I am certain the fan and relay to the fan is working but nothing is telling it to turn on.

Thank you all.
