radar

helllo anybody have any preferrences. I've been using rocky mountain radar with awesome results but it does get poor reviews. I have nailed them nearly everytime since ive had it and its been a year and a half especially tonight. Hitting over 90 and it went off nailed the brakes then saw him coming let off and rolled by, not a highway either. Just thought i'd let everyone know.

I have two V1s, and they had paid for themselves over and over again and again... There is story on the V1 website that i wrote about 8 years ago or so about the V1, IIRC, it is called "two friends, two detectors - reality check", you can check it on their archive site...

I must admit, the appearance of V1 is archaic, I would have improved on the llittle LEDs they use for every kind of alarm, I'd rather use something visually distinguishable, either by a shape of the light, or by color, so when you are driving at night, just glancing over could tell you what type of radar is being encountered... But the old fashion (read: anvil looking brick!!!) is fine, the body is encased in metal case that is shielding the detector's harmonics - it picks up other people's detectors as they pass by, but it does not set off the other detectors... I think the Valentine's page describes how it works...

Thumbs up for V1
