How to replace lost key?

I do not wnat to give the $tealler $190.00 for just a replaced key with remote control. Is there ant alternative?

The answer is yes:
1. Look for the lost key
2. Search Ebay and you might find a blank but you still need the dealer to cut it and program it.

Maybe other members have better ideas. Good luck and let us know?

nope.. dealer won't/can't CUT a new one...

B&DCalgary is on a distinguished road
Nobody can cut you a new one, including the dealer. They need to send the code over to Europe to have a new key laser cut. Takes about a week via courier.

They actually have extra "spares" for your specific X in a safe waiting just for you.

I got two keys cut and programmed and had them the next day. If you go in before 3:00pm with driver's licence and you regerstration, they'll copy and fax it to BMW NA and they have them to you asap, I paid 200 for two so, maybe you can ask for wholesale prices, like I did.

Send over to Europe? Your local dealer can do that.
