Hey Svc. Mgr: My gearing is too tall! Service Manager says...
"I've ordered up the ZF tranny reprogramming laptop from Germany. When it arrives we can change the shift points to whatever you like."
My '05 4.4i car doesn't shift into a lower gear when I go around a corner; it just bogs down at 900 RPM unless I mash the gas and force a downshift. ...and my great service manager is willing to change my shift points. One of the many reasons I love driving BMWs!
