Could Parking Brake be Sticking?

Weird scenario... This started happening after the dealer adjusted my parking brake..

After i have my parking brake on, when i move forward, i hear a squeeking, almost as if the parking brake is still on slightly, it goes away after i speed up. Could one of the calipers be sticking? It does not come back again at low speed after speeding up.. I also jammed my brakes down after having parking brake on, and it went away.

Your parking brake does not use the calipers. There is a separate small drum brake (inside the rear disc) that functions as the parking brake.
While it is possible, it easily could be something else.
To me, if jamming on the regular brakes makes the noise stop, its not likely the parking brake causing the noise.

I agree. We have parking shoes inside the rotor drum. Sounds like your pads are wearing, and when you jam on brakes a couple of times, they heat up.

Hmm. But this happens after driving too. The pads were warm last time this happened to me. Maybe jamming on the brakes is just a coincidence...

Actually maybe they are a little tight. Jamming on the brake heats up the rotor, which will heat up the parking brake stuff, and let up. How many clicks in the parking brake before it grabs really tight?

I have to look it up to refresh the memory, but I think in my E34 I could tighten up the parking brake by slowly driving and clicking the parking brake one click at a time until it got really tight.. not sure if the same applies to E53...
