Need help with Setero Nav upgrade (OEM)

I want to update my navigation/stereo system and need some help. I have a 2001 X5 with the small navigation screen. A while back I went on ebay and scored the whole stereo nav system from a guy who removed everything from a 2005 X5 (I got the CD changer, Sirius receiver, Stereo Module (BM53), MK4 Nav, and 16:9 screen unit for less and $100). So I have put the screen in and it works with the MK2 system I have now. I hooked the MK4 system up and it seems to work. Now I want to add Sirius XM and auxiliary input. From my research that means I need to use the BM53 radio module. I have been researching the following link which did exactly what I wanted to do, but it was done to a E39 and I just want to make sure the wires/harness are the same for the E53.

BMW E39 SIRIUS XM, AUX Input, BM53 Radio Retrofit DIY | BMW E39Source

My specific concern is that the radio module is under the spare tire in the E53 and it is near the changer and navigation unit in the E39. Does anyone have any advice for me? Are all those harness the correct ones for the E53?

Thanks for any help
