AC comes on on start up

My AC always comes on when I first start my X, is there a way to prevent this?

I think this is a "feature". If only the fan is on when you turn off the ignition, does the AC still come back on along with the fan?

I have my A/C off when I turn off the car, and never on 'auto' setting...I use manual settings for temp(s), vent position, etc.

Thus, my A/C never comes on when I start/drive the car, until I hit the snowflake button.

I will turn off AC along with the fan. In the past I would leave AC light on but only turn fan off
