Exclamation i-pod interface kit

I HAVE X5 4.4i 2003.NOV.
I AM GOING TO RETRIFIT I-POD INTERFACE.
MY X5 HAS WIDE MONITOR WITH TV TUNER,DSP SOUND BUT NO NAVI.
I BOUGHT A I-POD INTERFACE THAT VERSION IS 2.0.( DIFFERENT FROM VERSION 1.0 :ARTICLE NUMBER 16).
ANYBODY WHO KNOWS WHAT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VERSION 1.0 AND 2.0?
HOW CAN I SEE ASAP(AFTERSALES ASSISTANCE PORTAL: I HAVE NO I.D AND PASSWARD ON THAT SITE)?
ACCORDING TO THIS SITE ARTICLE NUMBER 16(i-pod installation instruction),I CANNOT RETROFIT THIS INTERFACE.
BUT ACCORDING TO MY OWNER'S MANUAL,I CAN CONTROL THIS INTERFACE ON MY MONITOR.
ANYBODY WHO DID IT?

My advice would be to return the iPodYourBMW kit if you can and get the IceLink Plus kit. Tom G. at EIS is a great source for everything you'll need.
