Misfire with Fuel Cut-off issues
First 10 codes: P0174, P0171, P1349, P0135, P0305, P0301, P1083, P1085, P1344, P1346 Then 4 codes after clearing the first 10: P1342, P1349, P1345, P1347 I am thinking it is either an issue with the spark plugs (e.g. oil fouling the plugs) or with a coil. Too bad it isn't specific to a certain cylinder, that would narrow things down for me. I changed the spark plugs June 20th (3 months ago / 4K miles ago)to NGK (3199) BKR6EQUP. Any advise, as I research this, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. DanSanDiego |

It was the DISA Valve
My 10 codes turned out to all be caused by the DISA valve. When I pulled it out to check on it, the whole thing fell apart (it had sheered off). I checked inside there there weren't any pieces (the pin came flying out when I pulled it out and one piece of plastic flew to the passenger side of the vehicle). But with a new one ($260 including tax) all is running well.
