I thought I would throw in my 2 cents...I have the 2003 4.6is Dinan S3 package and have never regretted it. This is my second one since my first one met a stoned motorcyclist head on at 65 mph, so needless to say, I stripped all my Dinan stuff from my wrecked S3 and now have a spare supercharger and the rest of the Dinan gear which has come in handy. Though as I posted earlier today, it does present some tight working conditions when something goes a rye....but I do love it and it's my baby...

Since I was getting screwed by the other guys insurance company, my insurance company told me I could remove some stuff...needless to say, I went shopping and took whatever wasn't bolted down....I thought the supercharger was trashed since it looked like it took a direct hit, but after I pulled it out, it seemed ok. I sent it to Vortec in Oxnard CA. Except for a dent on the pully wheel, nothing was wrong with it and I just paid for a complete inspection and upgrade. They just incorporated some enhancements and sent it back to me...so now I have it in running my new '03 X5. I''l be sending the other supercharger in for a rebuild/inspection soon so I have a good spare. I have ALL the other Dinan parts in my garage...I had to swap out my Dinan MAF sensor just a few weeks ago....thank god I had another.

I'm not sure if the '03 S3 package would fit. You would have to contact Dinan in NorCal to find out. Besides the hardware, there are software upgrades needed as well to maximize the hardware. I'm not really planning to sell my hardware, but I would consider selling my spare Dinan sway bar....but not sure yet.
