Largest tire on a 17" rim?

Now this usually is a common question on these forums, however i'm not looking for width or anything as far as "sporty" is concerned. I'm looking for the largest tire (offroad, mud, etc) size that will fit. There are very little options at my current stock size. This may not be the popular choice but i'm not looking to go down, but go up and gain height. Albeit as little as it would be.

265/70 17 has been done a few times. That is as large as I would suggest.

No problem, I had a search advantage, since I remembered the 2007 and 2009 threads on the same topic.
