A/C control unit and blower problem,HELP!!

'01 X5 4.4i sport
I just stopped at the shopping center and turned the car off and then
suddenly the blower turned ON by itself and escalated to the highest
blowing setting.And I noticed the A/C control unit is OFF and would not
come back ON again.
I removed the main blower fuse in order to stop the blower and now is off but the control panel would not come back on again.I have no control over it at all.
Please, help me . What could it be ? Stuck relay? Another fuse blown?

Any information and help would be greatly appreciated!
