06 Aero Pckg X5

I just missed out on one. Craigslisted last night and called about it this afternoon. Should have called first thing in the morning. Sold. He was asking $5900... Nav, Pano, Running boards, Cold Weather, Sport Seats, Towing, and Rear Entertainment pckgs. I am sad. No real reason for posting... other than to make myself feel worse.

Okay I am confused. Were you going to add another BMW X5 to your portfolio? You already have one of the nicest looking ones in Imola. Or as RB said were you looking to just part it out?

It would be a shame to part that out. Swap the kit over and resale. I parted out the one I got since it has bad tranny with >200k miles

There is a person locally in BC Canada selling the Aerodynamics package.

He's selling only the bumpers, and the price is about the same as new. Believe it or not, the bumpers are still available. Front bumpers on pre-facelift and facelift are different. Rear bumper fits both.

Possibly, but I was going to try to get the wife out of x3 and into this x5. Need more space with the second kid coming anyway. Switch the aero kit to the 4.8is and vice versa. She'd have a nice 4.4i and I'd have the aero kit on my 4.8is.

Correct Tam. It would have been a shame to part that if it was as nice as it looked. So I was going to try to get the wife into it. Oh well. I did have a question for you. Why do some aero trucks have the side panels on the doors and others not? Is that something still offered individually or???

That's an add-on option. I suggest you look up all part# on realOEM and plug into Furiousmethod.com - BMW Parts Price Comparison to search for part. I bought the facelift bumper that way, from Husker site.
