For that you need WinKFP to flash the DME with the sport firmware. It's an easy job. Send me your existing firmware number and I can look for the sport one.

Are you looking for a k-line trace? I don't know how to. If you know how let me know.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, in which case my apologies!..but has anyone successfully set up DIS/GT1 through VMware running windows 7 pro (64bit)? INPA is working beautifully, but I can't get DIS to connect?! I'm thinking it has something to do with how the virtual network ip's are set up (or not)...but I'm way outta my realm on this one! It's the same suite everyone else gets from our romanian pal...any input?

X5SND,

I had the same problem when I was installing mine and I contacted the Romanian pal. He told me to make sure my firewall/Virus protection was off. That did the trick and everything is communicating.

Hmm, I may shoot him a msg tomorrow...I'm calling it for tonight! I went back into Inpa after running the COM utility and now I'm gettin nothin.

Not sure why, but I'll have to deal with it tomorrow.

I have firewall/virus off....when I fire up DIS, it'll initially show both heads connected, but as soon as I touch anything I lose the round head signal.

If all else fails I'll start again with a re-install...thanks though!!

Im going to spend some time with it today and see if I can't get it working....if not ill contact our friend to see what the best option at that point is. I'd prefer a fresh install and working through it, than someone I don't "know" remoting to my comp....gives me the Heebie jeebies if I'm honest!

I can see how it would be since I forgot you have a bunch of other stuff on it.

If he remoted to my "diagnostic laptop" all he would find is a fresh install of windows, no connection to Wi-Fi automatically (unless I turned it on), and his own software, so I would have no issues with it lol!

I don't think that the operating system matter. I am running all the programs in windows 8, 64 bit and 32bit and they work.
