they must've bumped the MAF when they changed oil... or, dislodged some of the vacuum hoses... was it a Jiffy-Lube or a dealer?
plug in your cable, laptop and read the DME codes... as a matter of fact, read any/all error codes - some of them are just stored and not trigger warning lights... Last edited by TerminatorX5; 11-09-2012 at 01:11 PM. Reason: spelling |

i would try one at a time, as long as you do not erase the error, it will stay there from one sw to the next until you read it... i bet it has something to do with air or vacuum - based on hissing... is idling rough, by any chance?

SES (Service Engine Soon) warning light means that something is wrong in the emissions related electronics.
O2 sensors, MAF, vacuum leak, etc. If you didn't have the problem BEFORE you did some work then you probably knocked something loose or damaged something in the process. |

hmmm... luft = air (luftwaffe, lufthanza...) definetely something to do with the air... probably air intake... check the sensor located on the air intake tube, it is plugged from a side of the tube, visible from the top, right before your eyes, as you are looking at the engine bay... it could be dislodged from the tube, thus not reading the air mass, or got unplugged... meanwhile i will look to see if these numbers mean anything...
