X5 in the shop for a transmission failure..
It was fun while it lasted the 12 months. Tahoe, Los Angeles, and all around the San Francisco Bay Area. Anyone want to buy the whole car as-is?

e70 - purchased 6/2018 e36 - wouldn't pass smog at 190k 2016 e53 - transmission blew at 225k 2012 e30 - sold as it was a little slow for a DD and burning oil at 220k 2011

I got a "Transmission Failsafe Program" message when my X5 got "sink" in desert sand. I replaced the whole transmission for about 1500 dollar and now it's fine. I installed a used trans from a BMW 740.
