I just got a kit of Black G2 off ebay, 37 bucks.

I always vote black or Red a la big Brake kits, but unless you have big brakes I tend to vote black for OE brake sizes. Just nicer to look at and blends in better than a rusty rotor.

I have a black 4.8 2006 wheels that im powder coating satin black. i was thinking of going with the yellow like you have above. my powder coating guy told me to just go all black. anyone have any pictures to show off?

Thanks man! I really just wanted something that would keep the rust at bay and not scream "look at me"; black was the logical choice. I straight up refuse to do any mod that detracts from the class of an X.....it's a people carrier not a sports car w/6 piston brakes. Bright calipers have no place on it (IMO of course)

I vote black or silver. I just painted the ones on my wife's x5 black. Looks clean and doesn't draw attention to them. If they were big brakes or multi piston like the BMW performance ones (just put a set on my m5), the yellow wouldn't be too bad (still prefer black or silver though).

Well said. I stand by my earlier comment that I've never understood the desire to draw attention to the ugliest caliper design in cars today. To each his own.
