What caliper paint color?

Hey guys,

I think im going to paint my calipers soon, shame this is such an expensive suv and they arent already powdercoated or something.

I usually like keeping my cars OEM+, and follow the rule of clean, sleek and sexy.

Im thinking of doing red, as it gives it more of a "sporty" look, and red is usually associated with that.

I was also thinking of dark blue, although not as noticable/flashy, it goes with the blue bmw badge.

And lastly white, which also goes with the badge, hard to keep looking clean though.

I basically like to keep a color scheme to my cars, if for example i do calipers red, any upgraded things in the engine bay would be red, and such.

Even though i have done all my other cars red, im open to ideas if any of your guys have pictures of different colors.

Another one i thought of was the "yellowish" though im not sure if itd go good with the silver, i think its more for a black or blue car.

Let me know your thoughts or post up pics of some X's.

I guess your 4.8is is silver. If you want flashy, go RED. I did Black. Silver would look fine too, but harder to keep clean. Yellow would be off.

I vote black. I've never understand the fascination with drawing attention to a clunky looking, single piston sliding caliper. If you want flash, purchase a big brake kit.

Black or Silver. Dark Blue isn't so bad. Don't choose a typical BBK Caliper color. OEM brakes needs to keep a low-key look. They aren't great looking as is and adding a flashy color accents that.

tiny little sliding calipers are never cool... so black or silver are my votes. get some big 4 or 6 pots and go exotic on color to show them off!

I wouldn't advise white, they'll get dirty once and never look good again.
