Did a little NCS coding/Confirm behavior?

DId some coding with NCS, but since I have barely driven the car since I bought it, can someone confirm a few things for me?

1. I enabled autolocks. However, when I come to a stop, and turn off the car, it does not unlock automatically. My e46 did not do this, but for some reason, before I coded the car, I thought it was doing it. Can someone confirm what the normal behaviour is?

2. I changed the central locking to do all doors locked/unlocked with the key, but when I am out of the car, and hit lock - I hear one click, then a much louder, more electronic motor click. like the first click pulls the knob, and the second click pulls the latch or something. again, I just dont remember that noise from before.

Normal, NO automatic unlock.

Not sure about #2 since I didn't want that feature.

Thanks -

#2 should be normal locking behaivor. If all your door are unlocked and you lock the car, do you hear two actions or just one?

I figured out what the second action is:

drivers door unlocked. other three locked.

hit lock on fob

ALL doors unlock, then relock.

is THAT normal? like I said, I drove the car like twice before coding it, and dont have a good recollection of what it does?=...

mine does double sound on locking, did not hear that when autolock was not active.. this is due to the fact that autolock is SINGLE lock action, and the keyfob is DOUBLE lock function... I just did not realize, that it was LITERALLY double lock...

single lock does not lock the fuel door and allows the handle to unlock the door from inside on first pull and open the door on the second pull, the double locking does NOT allow the handle inside to unlock the car... and the fuel door is locked - so, I gues, the locking module (EWS or DWR?) needs to get out of one mode before entering into the other...

when the car is locked from the lock button inside the car, supposedly in case of an accident, the locks do NOT unlock... when the car locks with autolock feature, than the lock autoUNlock in case of the accident...

hmm - thats a strange behavior for sure. probably gm3 specific, I know it handles door locks differently than the gm5

I know you have a GM3 psw handy, could you PM it to me, I want to look through it again and see if there is anything that may change that. I am starting to not like autolocks on the gM3 vs. the gm5 and may turn it off.
