Parking / City Lights

As you guys are aware, 2004+ came with angel eyes on the X5's stock.
However, you can't get the car to do angel eyes only. It will do the amber turn lights as well

I want this:

Picture supplied by a fellow X5worlder

Since the X5 is in the dealer, I asked them if it's possible to get the Euro spec setup. I'll let you guys know on the turn out!

If you guys have any hints, I'd be more than open to any advice.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it'll be a really quick software change. I know in Mercedes, if you change a setting from America to ROW (rest of world) you can get audible notifier of locking and unlocking the car.

I hope that it is something similair!

I got a call back at around 6:30ish but I was sleeping so it went to voicemail.
My S.A. said the car was ready to pick up, just cleaning it up now. He didn't mention anything about the lights. I think it might be a no-go. I'll ask him when I have a chance to go pick up the car (or I might not, it's not like I can drive it back anyways, I'm grounded).

People are doing this on the e46s with the euro LCM on aftermarket AEs. I'm sure the same can be performed on OEM with minimal modifications if the dealer cannot program the option.

If there is significant interest, I can definitely look into it.

But can you do it relatively inexpensively and a write up or something?

How would you go about by doing this?

The LCMs are not cheap ($125+), but it will be as if it were offered from factory. I have some ideas in mind, just need an X5 to verify fitment on.
