X5 3.0 MT Coolant Tank Stuck

Greetings - tank leaking and set out to replace it and can't get it off. Got all the hoses detached and it's still hanging on to some part of the radiator that I can't see. Any suggestions? Oh and by the way, the MT tank is different and apparently hard to get since I was sent the wrong one...

Mystery solved! For those 10 of us in North America with a 6MT X5; it uses the same coolant reservoir as the AT model. Tank is attached to a bracket by the port for the bottom radiator hose and AT fluid hose port. Very clever and tricky attachment but very hard to figure out without a set of clear illustrations. Sorry we didn't get pix this time. The trick is that the tank is attached to a kind of blanking plate on the backside of the driver side of the radiator. The bracket/blanking plate has to be detached from the shroud beside it and removed, complete with the tank. Once out, it's relatively easy to detach the tank from the bracket. All with no broken plastic parts!!!
