Looking to get my X tinted

I just got the X about 3 months ago. Happy more than ever with my choice of the car. However, i didn't get the privacy tints with it. I'm looking to put tints on the X soon. Can you guys recommends me any brands and shops within in the NJ/NY area. Also, what percent would you recommend for the back. (35% or 20%) I'm not looking to tint the front because in NJ/NY it is illegal.

I have medium on my X, which I believe is 20% and it matches the factory almost perfectly.

Lorenzo Tints in the Bronx specializes in this field. He does great work and would perfectly match your front tints with the rears.

I also got mine without the privacy glass. However ,I have since bought the 3 sunshades for the rear cargo area and they are very convincing(windows look tinted!).I am very happy with the look.To go further ,I am considering buying the oem privacy glass for both rear door windows and the small three quarter windows as this is quite cheap to buy and is obviously better than tinted film!Just an alternative to getting the tinted film!

That's where I got my tints from. He does great work. I have 35% all around except front windshield.

I went for 35%. Now wish I had gone for 20%. 35% is fine, but it falls short of providing privacy. My feeling is that 20% is probably the ideal compromise between (i) privacy and (ii) not so dark that the outside world no longer looks like the outside world.

Stateside that job is well over $2000, at least 4x a tint install - where do I ship my X5 to get it done also?
