Suspension rebuild Kits
i am wondering if anyone has any opinion on the quality of these aftermarket suspension rebuild kits. They all claim to be oem spec, and some even come with warranties.
I am getting harsh clunking (feels like the suspension is bottoming out) and i wanted to start with the control arm/thrust arm bushings as well as the sway bar links.. When i have looked for those i find these entire kits fot less than just buying the few parts that i need! here are a few: BMW X5 E53 Control Arm Arms Steering Tie Rod Rods Boot Ball Joint Bushing Kit | eBay BMW X5 CONTROL ARM TIE ROD BALL JOINT SWAY BAR LINK KIT | eBay Seems to have A LOT of good feedback... ECS's kit is a no-name for like $750!! lol If you do recommend to stay with a brand there seems to be a few; moog, myle, lemforder, powerflex etc... Any feed back is appreciated. I would prefer if you have used the kits or know someone that has. "cheap kit may wear out in 10,000 miles" with out any evidence is not helping... Thanks!!! |
