Front grills mod

I bought these grills from Bavarien Motorwerken off Ebay a few months ago(same time I installed their chrome rings),but wasnt too sure if I liked them upon first impressions of install,so I took them off!
Now a couple of months after,(kind of a late Xmas present for my X5!),I installed them again and this time I am convinced! They really do look wider(optical illusion,of course) and they really do sharpen up the front of my X.
What I like about the middle grill inserts is that they are not all chrome ,having only a thin layer of chrome at the front but are mostly black ,which gives it a nice contrast and dont make it look cheap!I think on my Green X5 these look better than the oem Titanium!
What do you guys think?

First two photos show the oem grill v Bavarien.

My '05 Grills

I took the stock grills and applied 1/16" 3M Chrome tape to the front edges.
