35D vs 4.4i N62
Friend recently got a 2011 e70 35D, 265hp/425ftlb and my car is 320hp/350ftlb so its hard to tell, clearly he has more torque. on paper we are dead even, i used the app "Whos faster" and it was dead even from the start and a 402 Meter draw. So we decided to see how it really was. Got a quick video of a 30-90mph run. But basically from a standstill i blast him away but then we stay even altering positions between gear changes. uphill however, The 35D definitely starts to show an advantage as it slowly starts pulling away.
Just some experience if anyone was wondering how the old 4.4 N62 stacks up against a new Diesel. |

Thanks for posting that (as a n62 owner). As well as calculating 'power to weight ratio' I think they should start calculating 'power to price ratio' we would win hands down.

Definitley! I also looked at the 0-60 times of the 4.8 e70 and it seems to be .2 of a second slower than the n62 4.4
