Got our first snow of the winter here in PA, took the X5 out to take some pics, also earlier this week, i put on yellow foglight tint, and installed H11 Noyka Hyper Yellow 2500k bulbs in them.

We only got like 3 inches and half of its melted already no reason for me to put them on and honestly looks like the dws will grip more since they are new. Only thing i see is the wintercontacts gripping better is that they are 255s and 18 so alot skinnier then the 20a and a heavy car, ill put them on when we get some real snow.

And yeah i know my wheels are dirty. I didnt clean them for about a week but i hate the pads german cars use, when i got my audi they also came with pads like are on the x5 and they dust like crazy. Literally clean them drive 20 miles and theres already a coating of dust. I put street ceramics on all my other cars and i can drive for 2 weeks with negligable dust.

Do you notice any benefit with the yellow/amber fog light bulbs/film. compared to stock?? Does the amber give you better light output / vision in the snow/fog/early morning/etc??

thanks!

Nice scenery. Love an X in the snow. Haven't had a chance to snap pics of mine in snow yet. Can't wait.

I bet the yellow fogs is just for looks. I can't see it helping anything. I like the look. Makes if seem euro.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I have yellow fogs on mine and to be honest it is for looks BUT compared to the xenon white fog bulbs the yellow is more functional. the extreme white of the HID can wash out things in fog or heavy rains/snow, but the yellow helps to give you a little more color on the road to help sharpen things up.

Love mine, H11 Hoen Endurance Yellow.

Looking good in the snow, I always rock parking lights + fogs
