That joint has to go. Search replace steering joint on here. There was a member with the same issue, but I think he was out in middle east, and his car experienced a lot of sand storm action.

sorry i must be explaining this horribly wrong. This only happens when say parking at no speed. I just have to apply gas and it can turn normal. Driving is fine even slowing down for stops and turns just seems to be parking now. But i am thinking i should replace that unit anyways.
I think i found what you guys were talking about. http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...nt-photos.html Should i look into replacing just this or just that unit #2?
