Yep! when you unzip all the files, you'll need every bit of that space. Make sure you stall have several gigs of free space in addition to that because the operating system needs that to run properly...

But other than that,it was a good buy.Although I still can't use it at full potential, some connector stuff,I will have to get a different adapter.
Seller has two prices for the same item one includes free shipping. Better to buy the one with free shipping because if you have a dispute with the seller, eBay will have him refund the entire cost whereas if you pay for shipping eBay only refund the cost of the item not the shipping.

alright a few good things and bad,

my wifes old laptop is an Acer Travelmate 4020, comes with Windows XP 32 bit which is good to run the software on which is good.

I have no clue about memory or hard drive capacity as of now though because we cant find the charger, so I had to get one for 9 bucks off ebay.

I will report back when my "free laptop" is running, will do a wipe of the hard drive and probably a reload of windows just to make sure things are working fresh, then I will order software and cable from Romania.

Mine came with VMWare Workstation 7

That laptop is pretty old. VMWare 7 isin't going to run on that. That series processor didn't have any advanced technologies that VMWare needs. You might be able to get an older version of VMWare to run on it though it may be a little slow. it also may be hard to find memory for that but I may have some laying around that will work. I have piles of old memory laying around
When you get it running, post what processor is in there and I'll get the specs off of Inte'ls site. Also let me know how much memory is in it.

Here's the specs on the laptop:

Yea, I've been in computer manufacturing and IT for a long time.
When you get the laptop fired up let me know. I'll take a look at it for you
