Potential Folding mirror switch source?

New to the X5 world after getting rid of my '02 330i. Just picked up a super clean 2005 4.8IS with 48k miles.
Recently was diagnosing the folding mirror issue to discover the metal tab which attaches to the microswitch on the drivers door is MIA. I'm pretty sure the switch itself is fine but its pretty useless without the lever. Here she is:
