Am I Missing Something????? 4.8is Fan

My buddy had some work done on this 4.6is a little while ago at the stealership. Got a trans replaced. Anyway, he got it back and felt like something wasn't right. He looked under his hood and could CLEARLY see his fan blade. So immediately he knew the shroud was missing. But that wasn't all. He called another dealership, and the parts guy sent him pics saying that he was supposed to have fans in front of his radiator also. I know this much is true because I've seen them before. I believe two little fans if I'm not mistaken. I could see them through the grill. He then told me that I'm supposed to have fans also on my 4.8is. I "thought" with the 4.8is, they did away with that fan because it wasn't needed or something. So please, can someone with a 4.8is let me know if there is supposed to be a fan there. If so, they may have ripped off my fan too as I had my truck "looked at", never serviced, at this same dealer.

Thanks guys.
