homelink wiring ?

Hi everyone !

As my car is not pre-wired for homelink I was wondering if anyone knows on the homelink module's socket what goes where ? 12V, light etc ?
any reply is appreciated

It may not have Homelink installed but it should have the wires for it. Did you open up the console light and have a look?

HI rayxi

well I took off the square plastic cover (which was in place of the homelink remote and searched around there, but couldn't find anyhting ?) Also as I live in Europe homelink is not a standard feature from what I've been reading !

You may need to search deeply into the side, once you had the overhead cover opened up. Cause my wiring was hiding deeply inside.

And for european homelink modules, you may need to check the frequency cause US/Europe uses different frequencies.

I'm not familiar with what might be different for European models. Perhaps some of our European members could chime in here with some insight.

Have another look. If the wires are there they may be tucked in there out of sight like Jackay said. They are likely wrapped in black friction tape (tape looks like felt cloth) which may make it hard to see.
