Transmission software update
My 04 4.8 stutters around 1100-1500 RPMs when coasting and when shifting from 3 to 4 gear. From what I've read, a software update usually fixes this issue.

I believe you are referring to a recall.... this shouldn't cost you anything b/c I got mine done not too long ago.
