more than you can afford, pal.
theres a lot more than just dent repair. there is a new rubstrip needed too. I would go to some private reputable body shops if you want to get it repaired, probably would avoid the dealership in my opinion.

Ask them if they can fit another door.
Our local dealer doesn't do body&paint,they subcontract. Quote:

Most dealers sub it out. It all depends where you go. If the other insurance only pays for new door, maybe. If they say only used part and paint, then no.

 If you want a dealer estimate why not go to the dealerand have them give you the estimate. Asking around here won't give you accurate numbers Quote:

Depends if you are planning to keep the car until you junk it or planning on selling it at some point. If you are planning to keep it, and insurance totals it, buy it back, put a new door, paint it and you are good to go. If you plan on selling it, fight the insurance and hopefully they will fix it and not total it. Good luck.
