Did you guys have to add resistors or turn off cold/hot check?

Mine doesn't even turn on, when I put it into reverse all it does is flash (or flicking faintly) and after two or three faint flickers it just stays off, nothing happens.

I bought these and they worked straight away. I did turn off the cold check to keep them from flickering for a couple of seconds when the ignition was first turned on. A huge difference in brightness from the stock incandescent bulbs.

Ok I will try to turn off "cold" monitoring and see what happens.

When I changed to LEDs I had no problems. I did nothing other than buy LEDs that said they would not generate any errors. When I added angel eyes I connected them to the interior lights and the ignition, work fine. Have worked fine for several years. I recall getting recommendations here. Have you used the search function to find the LED and angel eye threads?

So I decided to check but it was working? Maybe before when I first installed it I didn't have the instrument cluster in the car (was out for repairs).

But anyhow, the one I purchased from Amazon works, bright as hell, and no errors!

That looks nice! Do they have specific color temperature? And did you code it yourself?

No specific temp mentioned by the seller, but it's pure white without any hit of blue. Yes I coded it myself to turn off "cold" monitoring with PA Soft 1.4

I put the brightest LEDs I could find in my reverse light sockets but still found myself wanting for a lot more. I know the design is for others to know that the vehicle is in Reverse gear but I wanted to get some light for my dark driveway that I have to back into.

This worked out to be a perfect fit under the rear bumper and nestled perfectly in the plastic under facia and throws a ton of light to the rear which can be helpful when you have tinted rear glass.
