That is a good price for that mileage. Silver seems to the the least valuable color, however.

I would be most concerned about the usage of the truck. If it was in a 1-mile commute each way, every day, since 2006... I would be running away from it.

Looks like some CO / WA approved only substances were caught in the rear vent if you take a close look at the pic., otherwise looks nice.

not too bash that other truck but why would any of those things add to the value of the car? thats a big chunk of change for a look-a-like that gets the same gas mileage!

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I would never buy a silver car but thats just me. However, easiest color to keep clean!

For some reason to me, without other mods to bring out the look of the truck, silver kind of "washes out" special edition models. The exception being epdarks silver 4.6is, that truck is the finest looking silver vehicle I ever saw.

First of all, my goal wasn't to make a look-a-like. While being a look-a-like might be an indirect result, that was not the goal. Again, the goal was not to make people think it's a 4.8is. The goal was to make the car look the way I wanted it to look.

Second, you're right that those things do not add value to the car...but only to the extent that they don't add value to the car in and of itself (that is, as far as KBB/Edmunds/etc. are concerned). What they do is add value to an individual who would want to do the same modifications. I clearly expressed that in my FS thread.

Does anybody read anymore?

Anyhow, back on topic...

That is a good deal on a 4.8, OP. But I'd still be worried about the usual 4.8is problems (EXPENSIVE PROBLEMS) ... even moreso since the truck is out of warranty.

Sorry bud, I said I didn't mean to bash and I didn't mean to indirectly insult you. you didnt order custom body kits or spoilers. you ordered 4.8is...

I did read your entire Ad and what you are saying makes sense. As does it make sense with everyone else who mod's their car and says the same thing. the bottom line is they don't sell for any higher then book value.

These things are all My opinion and nothing more. Even if that 4.8is needed a transmission, 4 new air bag, all rubber bushings, and the Chain guides replaced it would still be cheaper and have half the miles of yours. GLWS!
